H-A-double LL-O double w "U"- double EE- N Spells Halloween!

A short ode to my elementary and middle school music teacher- Betsy Baker- that is my favorite school song ever! I don't exactly know why, but I love to sing it!!! Funny pants thinks I am nuts!

We have had a big week! Sassy's test results came back negative praise the Lord, so we still go to the endriconologist at the end of the year- but so far, so good!
Last weekend started with our school festival. It was crowded, expensive and fun! Cutie was in no mood, but the girls had their hair sprayed, we won some prizes and saw Sassy's teacher get dunked (sadly) and we ran into some great friends too! On Saturday, we had soccer and hockey games (sadly, Sassy had to sit out due to bad behavior at school) and then we went to lunch then to Meme and Boppa's house for Cutie to take a nap. After an unfortunate short nap, we decided to get our spooks ready to go to the Fall Fest then to Meme and Boppa's neighborhood festival. I had slaved that morning to put together perfect Halloween ensembles for each child so that they would be warm and still cute and color-coordinating. Smarty is a Clone something or other from Star Wars, Sweetie is wonder woman, Sassy is Batgirl, and Cutie was going to be a duck. I laid all of the costumes out at the top of the stairs and asked Funny to pack them all up in a suitcase to take with us after the games. When I opened the suitcase, I quickly noticed that we were missing the duck costume (Funny Pants forgot to pack it) and so we went to Tarjay to buy a last minute costume for cutie. Lemme tell you, this child was born to be a puppy for Halloween! He has the perfect puppy face- so it worked out just fine! So, once cutie was a cutie puppy, off we go to the city Fall fest. Well, we got there at the end of the festivities and nothing much was happening, so we ditched this effort and went back to Meme and Boppa's neighborhood to that festival and we had a ball! The girls had their faces painted, Cutie pranced around (his little nub-tail is so cute), and Smarty was so intimidating with his costume and plastic gun! We saw wonderful carved pumpkins too! Very creative.... after that, we had dinner at Meme and Boppa's and then went (late) to the neighborhood ghost walk. Sweetie got scared and Sassy and I tried to hide from Funny, Smarty, and Sweetie, but they didn't come looking for us! We ended up at a short haunted house where the story teller liked to use the word "pissed" a lot. HMMM.... Mommy, what does pissy mean? After that adventure, we headed home and our little spooks were completely tuckered out!

Sassy had a good week behavior-wise- only one "yellow" day this week! Big improvement!

After tonight's trick or treating, Funny and I are going off on a weekend trip (babysitter "SHI" is keeping Cutie pants) to celebrate our 3rd anniversary! Happy anniversary to my love!

I will post more later-after our trip! Cutie really hates when I get on the computer for a long period of time!
